Santa 2009

So we went and saw Santa tonight, William started telling him about the Bakugan he really wants and then he said maybe a teddy bear too. It was pretty funny. Reagan finally got her chance to tell him about the barbie doll that she wants and Kaylee, well she was a little cranky from not having a good nap today and as soon as I passed her to Santa out poured the tears, so here is the picture

Santa looks a little irritated and Kaylee is upset but Will and Reagan were good sports so 2 out of 4 isn't bad, right?

My Snow Angels and Kaylee

William and Reagan love playing in the snow

Don't they make perfect angels?( in the snow that is)

and Kaylee loves to get up on the table when no one is looking

she just has this look that melts my heart, so it is really hard to discipline her
oh how I love my kids !!!

Gingerbread Houses

William and Reagan have been wanting to make gingerbread houses for forever this year and we finally found the perfect night to do it

While William went for the more symmetrical look

Reagan went for the more "I'm 3 years old and want to put the candy in tons of places and have a few smiley faces" look

They both ate more candy then went on their houses ( as you can see Reagan licking her lips), I could tell every time she was about to eat another instead of putting it on the house she would start smacking her lips and saying I'm hungry for this, it was quite hilarious

William on the other hand at least asked if he could eat it

They had lots of fun and were very proud of the houses they made, they definitely show their personalities. It sure is fun being a kid!!

Hello again

Reagan has discovered that she loves to cut her own hair ( luckily it was just her bangs). She did it not once but twice and was quite pleased with herself.

I took Reagan and Kaylee to Breakfast with Santa this past week and they had lots of fun, Reagan enjoyed getting her hand painted and Kaylee fell in love with the Snowman

She would follow him around and she constantly had her hands up for him to pick her up, it was really funny to watch. There was also a clown there making balloon animals for the kids, Reagan and Kaylee both wanted snowmen with pink scarves, so I guess they were actually snow women. They had lots of fun, we are going to go back to talk to Santa with William so they can tell them what they want for Christmas, William can't make up his mind yet, Reagan insists that she wants a barbie and Kaylee could use a good book or maybe her own barbie. We shall see, I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas season.

My little kindergartener the budding artist

Here is Will's official Kindergarten picture

and he brought this picture home from school the other day, his art teacher was teaching about Van Gogh (my favorite artist) and Will said the teacher only drew the vase and that William drew the rest and colored the whole thing by himself. I think I have an artist in training

Pumpkin Carving Will and Reagan Style

Will and Reagan waited what seemed like an eternity for Kirk to get home from work last night they were so excited to carve the pumpkins ( Kaylee didn't get to stay up)

I let them draw the faces they wanted on the pumpkin so Kirk would know what to carve out and they did a pretty good job of drawing

William went for the more scary look

Reagan loved getting the guts out

William, not so much he didn't want to get dirty( that is why he is shirtless, so his clothes wouldn't get all gross from the guts)

Kirk helped a little at scraping the sides so the guts would come out easier

Oh Reagan and her smile

William's actually looks like the teeth are gross with the green spots from the pumpkin

and Ta Da there you have it, our Jack O Lanterns
Happy Halloween Everyone!!
