My Super Heroes and Kaylee

So I feel I was very brave this week, I took William, Reagan, Kaylee and Valerie ( a girl that I watch after school and when there isn't any school) to the movie Monsters vs. Aliens all by myself and we survived!!
I am a supermom right?
Anyways, it was Reagan's first movie in the theater and apart from trying to tell me she had to go to the bathroom one hundred times and falling asleep towards the end, she did great. We went to a matinee and saw it in 3-D.
Today, William and Reagan put their glasses to good use. Being Super Heroes is hard work but when you have x-ray glasses it makes it a little easier to find the bad guys

Reagan had to look up for her glasses to stay on for the picture

and

Kaylee was enjoying a nice relaxing rock in a pint size rocking chair while her siblings saved the world.

Under the Big Top

First I have to give some props to Kirk for even going on this trip to the Circus, the children and I had been sick the week previous to this and Kirk caught the cold and was not feeling well but he went anyways. What a good Dad!!!

Unfortunately the Circus was not in a big tent like William had hoped. He managed to get over that disappointment and went on to wanting a glow in the dark sword for the whole first half of the show. Kaylee, Reagan and Valerie ( a girl that I watch after school) were really amused by the acts, there were acrobats, clowns, tight rope walkers, magicians and pony riders. It was all really fun to watch

This was Kaylee watching the acrobats

During Intermission William finally got his sword so Reagan had to have one too

I caught Kaylee clapping in this picture

They saved the lion, tigers and elephants until after intermission. William was sure that they were not going to have them. He was pleasantly surprised when they finally appeared. My favorite was the elephants

We had fun, when it was time for bed William started crying because he missed the circus so much, it was pretty funny to see.

Miss you already!!

We had a fun weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Lindseth, Tessa, Gretchen, Ethan and Carson. William and Reagan both went to bed crying saying how much they missed everyone, especially their Auntie Tessa

Can you see that Reilly is jealous that Tessa has Reagan and not him?

Reagan loves her Aunt Gretchen

This one was to funny not to post, I tried to take a picture without Tessa and you can see Reagans reaction is quite dramatic

William is a lot like me silly in lots of pictures

Budding Artist

Can you guess who drew this Awesome Face?

Well I told the William and Reagan that I was getting ready to give Kaylee a bath, I went into the bedroom to take Kaylee's clothes off and went back into the bathroom with none other than Reagan in the bathtub drawing little faces all over the bathtub.

Could she get any cuter?

Under the Sea

Last week we got a flyer from Will's school saying there was going to be an under the sea activity at his school in the evening of March 5, Kirk and I talked about it and we decided that we would not be going because Kirk had school and I did not want to do this venture alone with three kids because last time I did Reagan was all over the place and we didn't get to enjoy it. Anyways on Monday he came home from school and told us his favorite under the sea creature was a squid because it had a square head and a sword fish, and he explained to us that we needed to go to the activity because we NEEDED TO. We told him that we were not going to be able to and last night when Kirk got home from work William asked if Kirk could go to Kirks school on Friday night so he could go with William to his school tonight( it was soo cute) anyways we gave in and Kirk and Will enjoyed some quality time together at Will's school last night

William was putting the fish in the cups that had their name on them

He is ready for a deap sea adventure

Passport Pictures

So we got passport pictures done yesterday, silly me couldn't figure out the scanner and I thought I had scanned all of our pictures before we had to send them out but I was wrong anyways these ones were the cutest anyways. We went to Kinko's first then after taking about an hour they told us that they were not equipped to handle pictures for little kids, by this time we had to rush William to school and then we took the girls to redo their pictures at a studio and theirs turned out great you would never know that Kaylee had just been asleep a minute before her picture was taken anyways it was quite an ordeal, but now it is done and we don't need to do it again for 5 years.

Reagan and her new obsession

So Reagan for the past 5 days I think has been wanting to wear dresses everyday, even when it is super cold outside so I make her put on pants under the dress so that her poor legs don't get cold. Her favorite thing to do when she dresses up is...

Twirling!!!

Funny stories...

I have always loved talking with my kids and I love the responses I get from them

once at lunch I was asking William to eat 4 bits of his food because he is four then I said maybe you should eat 5 bites because you are going to be 5, well silly me I took it a step further and said William maybe you should take 32 bites because I'm going to be 32. He gasped and then said Mom you can't be 32 that is old and you are going to die. It was so funny ( I dare not tell him the ages of his grandparents now)

Reagan oh Reagan always makes me laugh, we have been potty training lately and instead of m&m's I found these princess dolls that were on clearance, well she got one and she had an accident in her pullup so she got the doll taken away, well she told me she had to go potty and sure enough she went in the toilet and the first thing she said was Can I have my princess dolly back now, it was so funny

Kaylee sweet Kaylee, whenever she hears the phone ring she says Da Da, I guess that is pretty good for being 9 months right, she is getting better at crawling and loves to tease Kirk when he is on his computer she always goes after the cords and it drives him nuts. (I think she must take after me)

these are just a couple of the funny things that they have said lately I'll have to start writing them down more because you might laugh as hard as me

oh yea Will was learning about the post office and mailing letters at school, he came home and wanted Reagan and himself to be Post Officers ....they crack me up
